Personal Obligations & Responsibilities

November 19th, 2019

Hello, everyone! I hope you haven't been discouraged by my recent lack of posts. The expansion of my teachings occurs at its own pace, but it's still in a healthy state of growth.

Do you currently feel like you have a lot of personal obligations and responsibilities?

A lot of you have learned that in the end you have full control of the reality you choose to shape. But without a dichotomy-based perspective, it's hard to understand why you can still feel trapped at times, as well as feeling trapped in the belief that you aren't doing enough for yourself or others.

From time to time, everybody has an experience that they don't know how to get out of. And while, their soul manifested that situation for some good purpose, their general way of thinking will currently be "why am I in this mess"? It seems only logical, in those cases, to think of a way out of the bad experience you're in. Maybe there's something you could be doing to change it. And if you're not doing something about it, you might feel like you're avoiding what you SHOULD be doing; and from there you've come to feel like you've done something wrong.

Maybe there ISN'T anything you need to do right now. Of course there will be times in life when you don't know the answers. But from your perspective, it takes time and time to see a greater purpose in your experience.

I'm sure you've had times in your life when you've been told to simply calm down, and then things started going better. The idea of obligation is what makes one feel trapped in reality. Just remember - your passion to do things that are important to you are valuable because they involve doing or creating something that you love. Think about that for a second. Everything you've done in your life has at least partially been based off of your interests. Even if it was a stressful job that only awarded you a small amount of payment. If there was NOTHING that you wanted from it, then you would never have done it. This already proves how free you are.

When too scared of negative consequences, you develop a routine that maintains your idea of obligation. But often times the attachment to the routine is too strong, leading people to accuse themselves and others as 'lazy' and 'not good enough'. It is useful to examine how much of a work routine consists of what you REALLY have to do, compared to what you 'should probably' do.

For example, a lifeguard sits on their chair for a long time on their bench, sometimes going a full day without having to save anyone at a pool. But that's because someone could start drowning at any moment. But no matter what, there will always be an occasion where they failed to save somebody, even if they were fully focused and on duty.

My point is that limited beings can never truly have a fully secure lifestyle; there is never anything that you truly HAVE to do in life. It's uncomfortable to admit it, but you are never 100% safe from any danger in life. You can only do things to make yourself more LIKELY to be. So by that logic, you can never have a perfect and secure routine or discipline in something. Take a break at work from time to time; don't go about your day the same way that you always do. Know that no matter what you do, you're only a one being that can't control everything.

What you 'have to do' is always going to be your own self-created idea, and it will slowly change over time. But overall, from my perspective, nobody HAS to do anything. All is your choice. It sounds like the opposite of what I said in the previous paragraph, but you incarnated in this life to make yourself think that you have limits. Even though it's an illusion overall, you live in the illusion of a life full of limits and hardships. And what I want to point out today is that you don't always have to carry the weight of all those challenges.
